Animal Health is a family run business based in Basildon, Essex. We started out in 2015 with a single brand — Cleanine — and our very first product was a pet perfume. Back then it was just us, our dogs, and a belief that pet owners deserved better quality products at honest prices.
In 2020 we took a big step forward, acquiring NeutraHaze, Agricide, 4 Malodour and Medspek from Astor & Windsor. Overnight we went from being a single brand to a multi-brand manufacturer — and animalhealth.co.uk was born as the home for everything we make.
Since then we’ve added Hoof & Herbal in 2024, our equine supplement range, and Bark & Sparkle in 2023, our professional grooming line.
What We Make

We manufacture a wide range of products across two categories — animal care and professional cleaning. On the animal side that includes dog shampoos, pet perfumes, ear care, canine and equine herbal supplements, and grooming products.
On the cleaning side we produce disinfectants, odour eliminators, surface and floor cleaners, and artificial grass treatments — professional grade formulations used in kennels, farms, stables and homes across the UK.

The Team
Nine People. Four Office Dogs.
There are nine of us here at our Basildon facility — and yes, there are dogs in the office. A boxer, two chihuahuas and a cavalier King Charles spaniel. We’ve exhibited at Crufts, we manufacture everything in the UK, and we sell direct so our customers always get the best possible price.
Every product we make is something we’d use on our own animals — because at the end of the day, that’s exactly what we do.
